Short wash cycle

6 things you should know about the short wash cycle

The fast washing process saves a lot of real time, but do you get the clean clothes you need? DEKA gives you the answer …

1. A quick wash cycle is sufficient for a routine washing of clothes that are simply worn and have no stain. But if it comes to dirty clothes, it must be a complete wash cycle, as the short process is carried out in very low quantities.

2. To feel confident that all harmful microorganisms are killed, the clothes should be washed at least 60 °. However, you should always read the clothing care label, as in some particle sizes the maximum temperature of 40 ° C is specified. Careful! Towels and carcasses should always be washed at high temperatures (starting at 60 ° C), preferably using a powder detergent such as Deka No Comment, which also contains bleach / disinfectant to kill all harmful bacteria. This is very important, especially if you have families with low immunity (such as children or the elderly).

3. It is important to choose a detergent that contains enzymes, which are very
effective for stain elimination. Detergents that simply use bleach to clean and disinfect, are not very effective in fighting stains.

4. Careful! If you use the short washing process, keep in mind that even rinse
becomes faster. Avoid excessive use of the detergent, if you do not want the clothes to come off with foaming. It is recommended to halve the dose of detergent.

5. If you wash regularly at low temperature and cold water, you may notice that your washing machine starts to maintain a moist and mold odor due to the bacteria that are created. To eliminate this unpleasant odor, at least once a month, place the empty washing machine in a short washing process at a max 90 ° C, adding only Deka Bleaching. Also, rub well with the drum / centrifuge and attach the detergent.

A large plus of the short washing process and low water temperatures is the fact that we save a lot of time and save electricity. In short, save money.
