How to Choose the Right Detergent

Are you one of these person, who use many washing machines in a week? If so, then we advise you to change your routine slightly. By following these simple steps, to save water and electricity, you will spend less money, and be environmentally friendly.

  • Use the recommended dose of detergent, never more. Select the appropriate water temperature, based on the care symbols. There is no need for clothes to always wash at the maximum temperature to achieve the desired result. With new Deka products, the washing is perfect even at low temperatures.
  • The two main elements that consume more energy during the washing process are: water heating and drying machines. Try to wash at the minimum possible water temperature and select the maximum crushing process so as to remove as much water and clothes as dry (So you do not need to waste electricity for the dryer). Careful! Always follow the care symbols and the relevant instructions.
  • Pay attention to the process you choose on the washing machine. Avoid filling the washing machine with processes that require large amounts of water to save water and energy.
  • Concentrated products such as Deka No Comment, or Liquid Deka, among others, help you save the detergent; as for the same amount of cloth, the amount of detergent used is smaller.

The two main categories of detergents are:

  • Liquids, (Deka Color, Deka Black, Deka White) which are effective for food stains and stains of oily origin. Since they are in liquid form, these types of detergents are good for pre-treatment of stains or special signs that remain in the clothes.
  • Powder detergents, such as Deka No Comment, which are ideal for everyday washing, especially white carrots or towels. They are especially effective for children’s clothing crammed with clay or other impurities found on the playing field.
