How to Care for Fall Clothing

How to Keep Autumn pullovers in shape

Autumn season has come and we pull out sweaters from the wardrobe. But if you make mistakes during washing, wool fibers can be seriously damaged. Follow these steps to keep your tights and pullovers in shape throughout the winter.

1. Avoid heat

Wools react badly to heat. Remember this trick always and you will be assured that your trousers are in good shape. Think of delicate tricks such as cashmere, etc. need chemical cleaning ?! Think of it once again.

High temperatures and many chemicals used to clean these materials damage wool fibers. Wash in lukewarm water, preferably by hand washing and never use the drying machine. Some woolen materials such as Kashmir, may have on washing labels and washing machines. -In this case, always choose a short, low-temperature washing process with a delicate detergent such as Deka Color, Deka White or Deka Black.

2. Be careful

Always wash your woolen clothes and avoid rubbing them, as this may cause deformation.
Clean the piece by hand for 2-3 minutes, if it is a bit dirty. And for 5 minutes, if it’s dirty. Then, after rinse with clean water, at a little or much the same temperature.

3. Save the form

Avoid crushing woolen clothes when they are still wet because there is a risk of deformation. To remove excess water, gather in a spherical swaddle, but keep it loose and easily wrinkle by hand. Then, open on a white towel (white so that the color is not transferred), and wrap both together in order to shake as much water as possible. If the first towel has drunk all the water and you see it necessary to repeat this action, make it a second dry, clean towel (always white).

4. Dry up

Drying in the right position prevents straining and shaping of woolly material, only if you want to put the pullover in a dress.

5. Use steam

Finish the whole process, lightly wiping the woolen garment with to medium heat, lukewarm, or just steam.
